AKCJA DYPLOMOWA PZK
100. ROCZNICA ODZYSKANIA NIEPODLEGŁOŚCI PRZEZ POLSKĘ

AKCJA DYPLOMOWA

AWARD ACTION

Award actions are a traditional part of the amateur radio hobby that allows us to draw the attention of our community to current events, jubilees, or other circumstances that are worth it. In order to be issued an award – an amateur radio prize – contacts with selected award stations are made in order to meet the conditions set out in the rules. Both the award and the QSL cards exchanged later with correspondents have a special layout, referring to the subject of the action.

The current year is the year of celebration of the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland, and that is a special occasion. The Polish Amateur Radio Union (PZK) had been involved in the celebration and promotion of this event by organising an international bi-monthly award action lasting from October to November 2018. 18 stations with the number 100 in the prefix were involved in the action to be carried out, while their suffixes are the initials of the words Niepodległość (Independence) and Independence itself, and the abbreviation of the word POLska (Poland).

We invite you to celebrate the Polish holiday together, and we do wish good luck on the air to the operators - both to these ones of the award stations and to the participants of the action!
